The annual U.N. climate summit-COP29 kicked off 11 November 2024 in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku. COP29 with close to 200 countries readying for tough talks on finance and trade, following a year of weather disasters that have emboldened developing countries in their demands for climate cash.
